There are seasons when life feels less like living and more like enduring.
You keep showing up.
You keep serving.
You keep smiling.
You keep believing.
Yet deep inside, something feels buried.
Maybe it is a dream that never happened.
Maybe it is a relationship that never healed.
Maybe it is years of praying and seeing little change.
Maybe it is the exhaustion that comes from carrying responsibilities nobody else sees.
Joseph understood that feeling.
God gave him dreams, then allowed him to be thrown into a pit.
Sold into slavery.
Falsely accused.
Forgotten in prison.
Years passed between the promise and the fulfillment.
To everyone around him, Joseph looked buried.
But heaven knew he was planted.
Because God does His deepest work underground.
Roots grow in hidden places.
Character forms in hidden places.
Faith matures in hidden places.
And sometimes what feels like God's absence is actually God's preparation.
The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in you.
That means your story is not finished.
The stone was not the end of Christ's story.
The pit was not the end of Joseph's story.
The wilderness was not the end of Moses' story.
And this season is not the end of yours.
You may feel buried.
But if God's Spirit is still breathing within you, then resurrection is still possible.

• What part of your life feels buried right now?
• Have you mistaken God's silence for His absence?
• What if God is growing roots where you only see dirt?
• What would change if you believed God was still working beneath the surface?
Action Step
Today, write down one area where you have almost given up hope.
Then place Romans 8:11 beside it.
Not as a formula.
Not as wishful thinking.
But as a declaration that God's power is still alive and working even when you cannot see it.
Prayer
Father,
There are places in my heart that feel buried.
Places where disappointment has settled.
Places where waiting has become heavy.
Places where hope feels fragile.
Yet today I choose to believe that You are still working beneath the surface.
Breathe life into what feels forgotten.
Strengthen my faith while I wait.
Help me trust that You are planting what I thought was buried.
And remind me that the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead still lives in me.
